Morcheeba vjen nё Prishtinё me ndihmёn e kompanisё IPKO, qё mё parё kishte sjellur edhe yjet 50 Cent dhe Buena Vista. Koncerti mbahet nё kuadёr tё SURF - festivalit njёmujor veror nё dy qytetet kosovare Prizren dhe Prishtinё. Ekspozita te artit modern, ekspozita e pare e stripit ne Kosove si dhe njё koncert mire i pritur i Petrit Cekut, kitaristit tё njohur Kosovar, tashmё kanё pёrfunduar, ndёrsa prika kulmore e kёtij festivali pritet tё jetё koncerti i Morcheeba’s qё pritet tё organizohet nё Qendrёn e Rinisё.

Morcheeba, one of the most famous bands of trip-hop genre in the world, will perform in Prishtina on August 11. The English band will perform as part of the urban summer festival SURF.

It is now official: Following a series of commercial music concerts held in Kosovo recently, Morcheeba will give a more alternative performance for its fans and those of the trip hop music.

So far, the English band has released five best-selling albums and has been highly successful in the last two decades. After a break, this year the band returned in its complete form, including the famous singer Skye. In April 2010 they began their world tour with stops in over 30 cities. On August 11 they will arrive in Prishtina, according to a note on their website and confirmation from the organizers of the event.
Morcheeba’s performance in Prishtina is assisted by IPKO company, which had previously brought 50 Cent and Buena Vista to Kosovo.
This time around, IPKO and other sponsors have supported Gani Bobi Center in organizing the concert that is expected to turn Kosovo into the epicenter of music events this summer.
The concert will be held as part of a month-long summer festival in the two Kosovan cities of Prizren and Prishtina. So far, the festival has included a modern art exhibition in a comic bar and a concert by Petrit Ceku, the famous Kosovo guitar player. Morcheeba’s concert will be the highlight of the festival and it will be held at the Youth Center.
The entry to the concert will begin at 19:00. The tickets are sold throughout IPKO sales points and in other sites FOR 6 EUROS ONLY, while on the day of the concert the tickets will cost 8 EUROS.
